History

Old River had its humble beginning in August 1982 when 19 year old Lee White founded the company, selling wire rope and logging supplies in a barn on the family farm in Woodville, MS. Business grew rapidly and Old River Supply spread its logging supply operation across Louisiana and southern Mississippi.

In 2001, Old River Supply branched out and opened Old River Volvo. Old River Volvo quickly became Mississippi's only full-line Volvo heavy truck dealer, and earned a reputation of treating every customer with honesty and integrity.

From the beginning, the company's slogan has been "We Work Harder," and Old River strived to put that slogan to work in every sale it made and service it provided.

Today

Today, Old River has expanded beyond Volvo heavy trucks. We now sell GMC and Isuzu commercial trucks, do business under the name Old River Truck Sales, and are one of the fastest growing and most successful dealerships in the country.

Old River continues its parts tradition by stocking more than $1 million of GMC, Isuzu, and Volvo truck parts in its inventory and staffing some of the most experienced parts people in the business.
